Some not so happy news for those of you waiting for this book:
The second science fiction romance, Fortune’s Honor, was supposed to be released this month.
It won’t be. In fact, it won’t be released until this time next year. So book 3 is also on hold right now, since it doesn’t make any sense to write it until I know what changes might be wrought during the editing process, that may impact what happens in the next book.
On the flipside, this means more time to write other things, so it isn’t all bad. And Holden’s book is coming, it’ll just take longer than expected.
In the meantime, enjoy the picture. I don’t think I’ll get it for my cover – all my attempts to contact the photographer have been in vain – but this is still Josie and Holden to me.

I wish that was the cover. Unfortunately, it’s just the inspiration. And although I’ve begged the photographer – in both German and English – to license the photograph for use, he hasn’t responded. 🙁 But it captures the characters perfectly.
Well damn. I was looking for a good SFR to read and remembered enjoying this first book. Do you have an official release date yet?
Afraid not. It was supposed to be last month, September 2013. The book is written, and has been with the publisher since February 1st. But at the moment, all I know is “sometime next year.” Sorry. 🙁 If it’s any consolation, I’m not happy either.
